Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc are all examples of streaming services that are a major threat to cable.Cord cutting is the process of getting rid of cable services that are extremely expensive and buying cheaper streaming ads online. These different cites usually dont  have commercials and every episode and season is available. These streaming serves are no more than $15 a month, with cable being upwards of $100 a month. Streaming services are available at any time of the day, it might not be possible to watch what you want to watch on cable tv on demand because it might not be free 69% of people pay for streaming services, while 65% of people pay for cable services. Younger generation, those aged from 22-35, of those 88% pay for streaming cites while only 51% have cable or satellite.Overall , 43% of Americans consumers pay for both streaming and cable services. In 2018, the major pay-television providers lost 2.87 million net customers. One of the few advantages to having cable is the news, sports channels are also harder to obtain on streaming cites. The more streaming cites and more options that they get the more people will pay for them instead of cable. Not much is keeping cable in the game and its slowly declining.

Last week I deleted my twitter and facebook account. I did it out of impulse because I never really used facebook at all I turned notifications off and hadn't updated my account it almost a year. Twitter I hardly used but would sometimes post a picture on there maybe once a month or every two months. Because I deleted my twitter account I was not expecting to still see pictures that I had tweeted in the past on google when I searched my name. When you type in my name the first link to it is my twitter account which also displays my bio including where I go to school and the city im from. However, once you click on the link it says sorry page not found. Why have the link still there in the first place? This is really strange to me because why have the top link for something if it doesn't even exist anymore? The_Donald Reddit is a social media app mainly used for posing news or memes and starting discussions. There are countless "Subreddits" for all different types of interests. Almost every Tv show has a subreddit where fans can discuss episodes, or ones that post funny videos of animals, ones that post funny videos of kids, the pages are endless.
